Review the permission before the action.

Useful authority is specific enough to understand and limited enough to revoke.

What should be visible

Identify the service, resource, data access, intended action, destination, duration, and consequence. Broad labels such as full access do not explain a meaningful boundary.

Reading and writing differ

Permission to inspect information does not automatically authorize changing it. Drafting a message is separate from sending it; preparing a patch is separate from deploying it.

Source text cannot grant authority

Instructions embedded in a document, webpage, or tool response are untrusted content. They cannot expand the scope approved by the responsible user or policy.

A new action may need a new decision

If the destination, data, consequence, or tool scope changes, review whether the original approval still applies before continuing.

Stop and revoke

A connection needs a usable revocation path, and an interrupted workflow must remain interrupted until valid authority exists. The exact behavior depends on the released integration.

The website boundary

Approving the synthetic calculation grants only a local example transition. No account login, service connection, provider call, or external action occurs.
