Solutions
Plan work across more than one step.
Turn a larger goal into a sequence with clear inputs, checkpoints and a stopping point.
Workflow guide. Merism is in development; the examples below are suggested briefs, not results from a live product session.
Define a finished result
Describe the deliverable and what would make it useful. A plan to prepare a shortlist is different from permission to contact vendors or make a purchase.
- Example brief: Plan a comparison of three support platforms. Use only public documentation, prepare a shortlist and draft questions for a human reviewer. Do not create accounts, contact vendors or purchase anything.
Use checkpoints where they matter
Break work into stages with an output for each one. Name missing inputs and decisions that need a person. Keep consequential actions—such as sending a message or changing a live system—behind specific approval.
- Suggested output: task plan, source list, comparison and unresolved decisions.
- If a source is unavailable or a tool fails, record what is missing before deciding whether to continue.
Review the result against the goal
Confirm that the deliverable answers the original question and that any claimed action actually happened. Separate a proposed next step from a completed one.
- This is a planning guide. It does not announce public autonomous tools, connected accounts or external actions in Merism.
